Volume Discounts and how it works

Many customers are asking why the 10% Volume discount does not show up in the Shopping Cart as a line item discount like the Coupons. Here's our explaination:

The 10% is applied at the item level as a VOLUME discount. Coupons are applied to the Subtotal level. For example: If you buy 3 bottles at $100 each ($300 SUB-total), the shopping cart will show the price $90 for each which equals $270 as a SUB-Total. Then the 5% discount Coupon is applied to the $270 for an additional discount of $13.50 giving you a new total of $256.50.

Sorry for the confusion but these are TECHNICAL LIMITATIONS of the shopping cart which does not allow baseline limits for coupons, otherwise we would just offer a flat discount for 3 or more items and/or a flat discount coupon for 1 - 2 items. Thats why we're doing it this way. I don't like it personally, but we have no choice due to the software limitations.

Regardless, you get some great discounts when you buy 3 or more items!!

Discontinued and Elusive Fragrances: How can you still be selling them?

Many of our customers ask us "Why do you still list discontinued fragrances, If it's discontinued, how can you still be selling it?". Well, the answer to that is very easy, even though a particular fragrance may have been discontinued there still may be some excess inventory sitting around on someones shelf long after it was discontinued. So, that's our job, to find those elusive fragrances and forgotten about bottles of Discontinued fragrances. Sometimes we get lucky, and sometimes we don't. Of course if we do, then everyone wins!!

Armani Black Code versus Armani Code

Many of our customers ask us if Armani Black Code is the same as Armani Code. The answer from Armani is that they are the same fragrance. Armani changed the name from Armani Black Code to Armani Code but ensures us that the fragrance has not changed.
